Indoors/Outdoors: Outside
Seating Availability: Plenty
Spot: The outer edges of the fair
Overview of spot:
Afternoons can be the hardest to find calmer spots. It really is when the fair is the busiest.
Looking at the camp trailers or equipment on the North End or the Fine Arts Building, can be less crowded.
Down by the Barns, finding a seat in the Coliseum can offer quieter spots.
Indoors/Outdoors: Mix of Outside and Inside
Spot: Buildings Along the Parade Route
Overview of spot:
When the daily parade is happening at 2pm some of the buildings are less crowded, but they become jammed after the parade goes by.
You will have to time your visit to a building before the parade starts. As it can be hard to cross streets during the parade.
Again won't be the quietest time, but it's a lot calmer than right after the parade. And it should give you a more room to move than being shoulder to shoulder.
