I’ve thought long and hard about this blog.
If you know me, or follow me you probably can gleam where I stand politically. I usually don’t publicly comment too much on happenings.
Part of the reason for that is I’m a Libra ♎️ ⚖️, I strive to keep a balance in all areas of my life. 😁
On a more serious note. I have friends, family, clients, and customers who are super conservative to ultra liberal. Who are highly religious to high priestesses in paganism to everything in between.
And when someone is:
- Having a hard time
- Grieving the loss of the loved one
- Grieving the loss of a beloved pet
- Caregiving for a family member
- Looking for tranquility
- Celebrating a wedding
- Expanding their family (human or fur baby)
- Picking their kids up from practice
- Paying their bills
- Getting groceries
- Eating dinner
They aren’t defined by those labels.
They’re having a human experience.

So why I am speaking out now...
Democracy is important to me.
When:
Fear is weaponized it only serves a few.
Lies are served as truth, it’s hard feel compassion for others or ourselves.
Rights are stripped away it becomes the ultimate lose-lose situation.
People don’t feel, seen, heard or valued they stop caring.
People are divided, weaknesses are exploited.
I want the freedom to...
Respectfully disagree with others and still work together to find a solution.
Understand history, so we can create a better future.
Be allowed to feel sadness and joyful all in the same day.
Go through hard experiences and know there is support available.
Create and innovate.
Be me.
🌿
For the first time ever I watched the DNC Convention and was excited to watch.
The mix of seriousness and joy was profound. That combination is something I value greatly.
When times are tough it can be really hard to find happiness let alone joy.
By enhancing our emotional and metal strength to include various feelings on a more consistent basis in our daily lives, we enhance resilience for ourselves, our families, and our communities.
When we do that, we begin to believe that we deserve to have joy in our life.
No matter what.
🌿
That said, there is a lot of swirling energy right now.
Some peopling know who they are voting for.
Some people are still deciding.
Some people are starting to look within and question what is important to them and what they are choosing in November.
🌿
The next several weeks are going to continue to add extra layers of intensity to our already overflowing lives.
From tomorrow to November 5th there will be daily posts on Courageously Living LinkedIn page that will either
🌿 Nurture your soul.
🌿 Provide you ways to embrace daily joys in your own life.
🌿 Or help you find moments of tranquility in your daily life.
Make sure you are following Courageously Living on LinkedIn to get your dose of daily nurturing.
Each of these posts will start with:
💙❤️💜 Nurture 💜 Joyful 💜 Tranquil 💜❤️💙
Because I 100% believe we are stronger, better, more compassionate human beings
When we:
🌿 Nurture ourselves and others.
🌿 Give permission to ourselves to feel joy.
🌿 Pause and seek tranquility within ourselves and our environments.
I am proud to support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
