There are days that it seems easy to nurture yourself than others.
Sometimes it’s just you might have to change up your nurturing routine. You can do most of these in short bursts of time or if you have the ability to spend more time on them do so.
Here are a few suggestions to nurture yourself every day of the week. The suggestions might be different than how you used to thinking about nurturing yourself during certain days but see how they feel to you when you do them on the suggested day.
Start with just picking 1 or two items for the week.
If you feel like doing more do so and if you feel like skipping a few days do that. Depending on what you pick, schedule time on your calendar for the item- you’re more likely to do it if it’s in your calendar. And if you want to color on Monday instead of Thursday- go for it.
You are slowly building a muscle to take a few minutes to nurture yourself, even when it feels impossible to do.
