Transforming Your Regrets

Transforming Your Regrets

Regrets can shape your life in negative ways. Most of the time the item that caused the regret is something that cannot be changed.

However, you can transform how you feel about them.

  • Acknowledge to yourself your specific or general regret
  • Seek therapy or coaching if needed, to help you transform your feelings of regret
  • Be gentle and kind with yourself

Regrets come in all shapes and sizes. Courageously Living works hard to provide with you reputable resources, but always do your own research on any resource or advice given. Courageously Living doesn’t receive any compensation or commission for these resources.

Former Beliefs / Decisions

Your environment (family, friends, work, groups, etc) can play a large roll in your beliefs and decisions. Finding the courage to change your environment, including but not limited to who you respect, who or where you get your information from, and who you associate with can be life altering.

Which can cause deep feelings of regret, guilt and shame from your past choices or beliefs.

Be gentle with yourself!

Depending on the intensity of the environment you came from this can be really complex internal layers and may take some time to unravel. That’s okay, listen to yourself and take small steps forward.
