Nurture Yourself by Your Astrology Sign

Nurture Yourself by Your Astrology Sign

These suggestions are different ways to nurture yourself based on your Astrological sign.

If you know your Rising and Moon signs factor them in too. If you don’t know them you can them find out them out on multiple sites. Astro-Seek is a good site to start off with.

I found the more I study astrology the more of my life experiences make sense, including how I nurture myself and why certain things have no appeal to me. Below are some general ways each astrology sign may gravitate toward nurturing yourself. And nurturing yourself doesn’t have to mean mediating. In fact for a lot of people it won’t.

The key is to find what works for you when you are feeling, stuck, stressed, or overwhelmed.

Each astrology sign is in one of the four elements Air, Earth, Water, Fire. Each of these typically can find nurturing in being creative, however their creativity is expressed in different ways.

Fire Signs ( Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)

Fires signs in general don’t partially like to focus on rest, relaxation or slowing down. So things that nurture them are going to be more active in nature.

Being creative is natural for this group.

Creative outlets may include:

  • Performing (scripted and unscripted)
  • Big canvas painting/art
  • Dance
  • Digital Art
  • Sports (playing or watching)

Aries

Aries loves to start things, so starting a new hobby might be just thing that you crave.

Leo

Leo loves to be pampered to look good, so a trip to beauty salon or nail spa might just lift your mood.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius love to explore and travel so a quick weekend trip might just be your ticket.

Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

Earth Signs are the worker bees of the zodiac and have the hardest time even seeing the value of slowing down and relaxing. Which then can lead to increased burnout for this group. Making it all the more crucial this group finds ways to nurture themselves.

They also tend to be the least creative of the group too. But they still are creative - it just might take them longer to find their creativity.

Creative outlets may include:

  • Baking / Cooking
  • Sewing/Needlework
  • Woodworking
  • Gardening
  • Logic Puzzle Games

Taurus

Taurus loves beauty so being out in nature or going to a museum is a great way for you to nurture yourself.

Virgo

Virgo thrives on organization, so if you find yourself overwhelmed pick a small drawer or cabinet and rearrange it.

Capricorn

Capricorn out of all the signs has the hardest time with doing any nurturing for yourself. Find something you do as part of your normal routine and consciously do it slower and deliberately. Like brushing your hair or putting on lotion.

Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)

Air signs are very inquisitive. Whether that is talking to be people or discovering something on their own, learning is paramount to this group. Therefore it makes sense that things that tend to nurture them would somehow involve learning.

Being creative for this group often involves written or spoken language.

Creative outlets may include:

  • Debating anyone on any topic
  • Writing
  • Singing
  • Word Games

Gemini

Gemini is quite curious, so if you feel stuck take a few minutes and learn something. Any trending online searches are your playground.

Libra

Libras love a good chat. Call up a friend and meet for coffee, you’ll be relax and rejuvenated by the end of it.

Aquarius

Aquarius wants to know how things work, so if your stressed pick a random thing that interests you and look it up or ask a AI bot to help you. Whatever the answer is you’re also going to be curious on how AI got to that particular answer. So this serves you up a double dose of creativity.

Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

Water signs are the easiest signs to take time to nurture themselves. They tend to be more in touch with their receptive side and see the value in doing things that make them feel good. Which is what nurturing is all about.

Being creative is natural for this group, however their creativity tends to be very different from the Fire Signs creativity.

Creative outlets may include:

  • Writing or Journaling
  • Mediating
  • Drawing or painting (but no one may ever see them)
  • Reading/ Researching/ Learning
  • Music (creating or listening)

Cancer

Cancers are the best nurtures of the zodiac, although sometimes you might it hard to turn your nurturing to yourself. Curling up with a good book and a cup tea might make you swoon though.

Scorpio

Scorpio loves a good mystery, so giving yourself permission to do a deep dive down your current rabbit hole is the best gift you can give yourself.

Pisces

Pisces are naturally drawn to mysticism, ancient wisdoms, or other worlds, so spending time learning or practicing these topics or techniques can sooth your soul.
